<1st Rate Halving Done as We Have Reached 100k Users!>
12 Dec 2020, we are excited to announce that Bee Network has officially crossed the 100,000-user-mark, just 9 day after we have made the app available to all countries on 3 Dec 2020. Hence, we have just done our 1st rate halving, cutting the base rate as Miner by 50% from 1.6 Bee / hour to 0.8 Bee / hour. Hence, the referral bonus for each active miner in your team will be cut from 0.4 Bee / hour to 0.2 Bee / hour (25% of 0.8 Bee / hour)
As stated in our white paper and the newsletter released on 8 Dec 2020, there will be a total of 4 rate halving in the entire project roadmap, while the first is just done (-> 0.8 Bee / Hour), the upcoming halving happens when the entire Bee population has grown to 1 million (-> 0.4 Bee / hour), 10 million (-> 0.2 Bee / hour), 100 million (-> 0.1 Bee / hour) and eventually there will be 0 new supply of Bee when the user base is 1 billion worldwide.
While it might feel not very comfortable when you realize the rate of earning is not as fast as the old time (literally the past 6 days for majority of current Bee users), it is an extremely important measure to create and grow the value of Bee by rate halving. With the current user growth trend, we foresee the next halving will happen within 6 months from today. It is imperative to maximize your mining by keeping yourself active and referring more members to join your team before the next rate halving happens.
Update on App Features
We have just released the latest version of Bee Network app on Google Play and App Store. Here are a summary of the new features:
We have added links to our official social media pages on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter and Telegram. You may click the social media icon in the “Setting” page (bottom right corner). We are glad that Bee Network has drawn worldwide popularity, so it is more important to identify the official social media pages of Bee Network to ensure you are receiving accurate information.
We have added a signout warning. It is Bee Network’s principle that you will forfeit the earning of a session when you sign out before it is completed.
We have also added instructions for mining and checking earnings breakdown in home screen, we have also added an illustration chart of the roadmap of rate halving.
We have hidden the public referral code on the new user registration page. The public referral code is only for testing purposes in early stage. Bee Network is now officially a referral-only community.
Technical Difficulties
We understand that you might have experienced some technical issues. In case you are stuck in the app, a potential cause will be you are not using the latest version. We advise you to delete the app and download the latest version from Google Play or App Store.
